Among them, Shenzhen Samkoon Technology Corporation Ltd. (“Samkoon Technology”) is finalizing its intelligent automation factory, currently in the equipment installation phase, with operations scheduled to commence by late March this year. This cutting-edge facility, specializing in intelligent manufacturing robotics, is poised to drive the deep integration of AI technology into advanced manufacturing process. Talking about the new factory that will soon settle in, Song Bin, Chairman of Samkoon Technology expressed profound sentiment. “Through nearly two decades of entrepreneurship in Shenzhen – from Bao’an District to Nanshan District, and now to the SSCZ – we have finally realized our long-cherished dream of land acquisition and factory construction here in Shenshan. In 2019, we leased a factory in the Fashion Brands Industrial Park. In July 2023, the main structure of our intelligent automation factory was structurally completed. Established in March 2007, Samkoon Technology initiated its operations with a production base located in Bao’an District, subsequently expanding its technological capabilities through the establishment of an R&D center in the Nanshan District High-tech Industrial Park. It has achieved multiple prestigious recognitions, including designation as a national high-tech enterprise, a double soft enterprise, and a Shenzhen specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative (SRDI) small and medium-sized enterprise.
In 2019, driven by order growth and limited space, Samkoon Technology relocated to the SSCZ. It moved into a leased factory building in the Ebu Fashion Brand Industrial Park and went into production in May of that year. However, with sustained order volume expansion, the leased factory building soon proved inadequate for the company’s development requirements. Therefore, Samkoon Technology began to plan for proprietary facility development. It has acquired industrial land in Houmen and constructed an intelligent automation factory.
Spanning about 16,000 square meters, the new factory is designed to evolve into a green ecological demonstration park that integrates R&D, intelligent automation, and digital production. Upon reaching full production capacity, the facility is projected to generate an annual output value of RMB2 billion. As one of the first national high-tech enterprises to settle in Shenshan, Samkoon Technology has been deeply integrated into an industrial system with new energy automobile as the main industry, new energy storage, high performance materials and intelligent manufacturing equipment as complementary ones in the zone, continuously enhancing the core competitiveness of local products, and contributing to the accelerated growth of Shenshan’s advanced intelligent manufacturing industry.

Deeply Rooted in Shenshan: DeepSeek and Other AI Technologies Empower Production, Further Upgrading Intelligent Manufacturing
Guangdong is now strategically leveraging its strengths in electromechanical technology and digital intelligence technology to accelerate its layout of AI and robotics, aiming to establish technological leadership and secure a dominant position in emerging competitive arenas.
The recently released “2025 Action Plan for Building a Modern Industrial System in Guangdong Province” explicitly put forward to vigorously develop embodied intelligent robots with a focus on deep applications, implement the “AI+” initiative, and promote the deep integration of AI and manufacturing, among other areas.
As the core hub for Shenzhen’s next-generation, world-class automotive manufacturing center, the SSCZ is seizing the opportunity to focus on building a modern industrial system characterized by new energy automobile as the main industry, new energy storage, high performance materials and intelligent manufacturing equipment as complementary ones.
Located near Houmen Railway Station, Shenshan Bay Intelligent Manufacturing Cluster is included in Shenzhen’s top 20 advanced manufacturing parks in 2022. The cluster now has introduced three manufacturing enterprises such as Samkoon Technology and Vanfuso, and three platform projects including Shenshan Bay Science and Technology Park and Shenshan Ruibote Innovative Industrial Park.
Among them, Samkoon Technology has been dedicated to industrial automation for over a decade, focusing on the R&D, production, and sales of technology and products in such areas as industrial human-machine interface, programmable logic controller, servo driver, motion controller, and robot. At present, it has obtained 95 national patents, including 36 inventions, 32 software copyrights, 26 utility models and one industrial design.
“Last year, our overall sales grew by 25%, driven by strong performance across domestic and international markets. Based on a significant order surge surrounding the Spring Festival period, we expect a 50% year-on-year growth in the first quarter, which is the same as the annual target growth rate we set.” stated Song Bin. “To support this expansion, we’re actively scaling our workforce from the current 150 employees by recruiting an additional 100 professionals, with a strategic focus on highly educated R&D talents, industry-leading sales professionals, and AI-savvy technical experts proficient in intelligent equipment operations.” Song further mentioned that the company is making significant progress in deeply integrating advanced AI technologies such as DeepSeek with production. The launch of the new factory and production lines will bring new opportunities. By the end of this year, the company is expected to achieve advanced intelligent production, with manufacturing capacity projected to increase more than threefold.
