SA3 automobile internal ornaments recently began to roll off the production line of Yanfeng Automobile Ornament (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. in the Intelligent Cockpit Industry Park, Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, Shenzhen. The move will give a strong local boost to vehicle manufacturing in the second phase of Shenshan BYD Auto Industry Park.
The newly produced SA3 internal ornaments will be supplied directly to the second phase of the Shenshan BYD Auto Industry Park in Xiaomo Subdistrict, Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. This “door-to-door” supply mode significantly shortens the supply chain, substantially reducing logistics costs and turnaround time. It marks a crucial step for Shenshan to coordinate upper and lower streams of the industry chain and foster an intact NEV industrial landscape.
Situated in Xiaomo Subdistrict, the Intelligent Cockpit Industry Park covers an area of about 40,800 square meters, and boasts a total construction area of 91,300 square meters. The park features workshops and supporting premises built by Shenshan International Automobile City (Group) Co., Ltd. on collective reserved land of Jinxingwei Village Group, Xiaomo Subdistrict, designed to meet Yanfeng’s manufacturing and operational needs as well as technical specifications.
An executive of Yanfeng noted, “The Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone offers competitive advantages in location, industrial planning and business environment, and therefore provides favorable conditions for businesses. Particularly, “tailor-made and move-in-ready” workshops can help enterprises promptly resolve land and space requirements for quick production setup. The proximity of the Intelligent Cockpit Industry Park to the vehicle manufacturing factory enables an immediate response from the supply chain, and helps both sides to reduce costs pertaining to logistics, warehousing, operation and management while enhancing overall competitiveness.
The Yanfeng Intelligent Cockpit Industry Park represents another successful example of “village-enterprise cooperation” in Shenshan. Since the first village-enterprise cooperation project launched in 2023, Shenshan has successively facilitated the establishment of six major “village-enterprise cooperation” industrial projects, including Jiaohu Industry Park, Intelligent Chassis Industry Park, and this Intelligent Cockpit Industry Park.
