On August 30, BYD Xi’AN, making its first call at the Xiaomo International Logistics Port in Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, finished loading of 3,977 new energy vehicles (NEVs). This shipment will be transshipped via Taicang Port in Jiangsu Province before heading to the European market. This marks the largest single-batch export of NEVs in both volume and value at the port so far this year.
The Shanwei Border Inspection Station took a proactive approach and targeted measures to facilitate the operation. It promptly established a dedicated task force, developed customized “one vessel, one policy” solutions, and piloted a “three pre-arrival items” inspection model. By streamlining border inspection procedures, the station significantly improved clearance efficiency, ensuring “zero waiting” for incoming vessels, “immediate loading and unloading” upon berthing, and “zero delay” upon departure — effectively facilitating the global expansion of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China”.
Li, the port manager, said excitedly, “For companies like ours, time is efficiency. The pre-arrival services provided by the border inspection authorities allowed this 10,000-ton vessel to berth, operate, and depart without delay. This not only saved us valuable time and reduced operational costs, but also enhanced our competitiveness in international markets.”
Looking ahead, the Shanwei Border Inspection Station, under the Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, will further advance its intelligent border inspection, continuously optimize the business environment at the port, and provide more efficient and convenient clearance services for NEV exports, facilitating Xiaomo Port’s development into a world-class hub for automobile exports.
