On September 26th, at the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zonein Shenzhen City, 805 new energy vehicles formed an orderly convoy as they were loaded ontoa pure car and truck carrier(PCTC). They were about to depart from Xiaomo International Logistics Portand sail across the oceans toMorocco, Africa, markingthe launch of the "Xiaomo Port-Africa"roll-on/roll-off(Ro-Ro)foreign trade route.

With this launch, Xiaomo Portnow operates 11 Ro-Roforeign trade routes, covering seven core regions worldwide, reaching destinations across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Europe, South America, Australia, and Africa.

The launch of the new route precisely meets the strong demand in the African market for cost-effective Chinese automobiles. Africa accounts for 15% of the world's population but only 3% of global automobile sales, with a car ownership of approximately 40 vehicles per 1,000 people—far below the global average. This clearly demonstrates the enormous growth potential of Africa's automobile market.
All vehicles involved in this operation were manufactured at Shenshan BYD Auto Industrial Park.Located just 4 kilometers from Xiaomo International Logistics Port, the Park enables vehicles to be transported to the Xiaomo port within five minutes and driven onto Ro-Roships for exportunder the "factory-port linkage model." This highly efficient new model is one of the key reasons BYD chose to establish its "megafactory"in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone.
