Vibrant development is surging throughout the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. As part of these ongoing growth efforts, the 7th Shenzhen Entrepreneurs’ Day was held as scheduled within the zone, gathering representatives from local state-owned enterprises (SOEs), private enterprises, and non-Party members. Through symposiums, thematic lectures, and award ceremonies, the event served as a platform for open dialogue between government and business, highlighting the Zone’s strong industrial foundations while fostering a shared vision and momentum for high-quality development.

Government–business dialogue sparks ideas and builds consensus
Two parallel venues were established to precisely focus on enterprise needs, enabling idea exchange and service matching to proceed in tandem.
At the symposium with non-Party members and the Conference on United Front Work for SOEs, participants actively engaged in discussions on implementing the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Drawing on their positions at the forefront of the industry, representatives from leading local SOEs, including CR Power Shenshan Company, shared their innovative practices in clean energy and smart management. Private entrepreneurs such as Zhao Kaiqian and Luo Binghui, drawing from their experience, offered practical suggestions on industrial collaboration and policy implementation to improve the business environment. These in-depth exchanges between government and business further clarify the Zone’s development path. Additionally, the thematic lecture on safeguarding the high-quality development of private enterprises attracted strong engagement. The Bureau of United Front Work and Social Development of the Zone delivered targeted policy insights and shared experiences, addressing key challenges faced by enterprises in innovation-driven growth, while active Q&A sessions transformed the venue into a “through train” for efficient problem-solving.
An award segment recognizing participants in the “June 30” initiative supporting rural revitalization through charitable agricultural procurement added a heartfelt touch to the event. The awards not only acknowledged public welfare efforts, but also highlighted entrepreneurs’ commitment to people-centered development. This segment reflected the social responsibility underpinning the industry’s growth.
Industrial foundation enhancement and business environment improvement foster innovation-driven development
“A solid industrial foundation is the key to sustainable corporate growth.” This consensus was evident as the confidence and suggestions voiced by entrepreneurs are rooted in the Zone’s solid industrial foundation, which was also the central topic of the symposium.
It is understood that the Zone remains committed to prioritizing the real economy as its foundation and making manufacturing the pillar industry. The zone is accelerating efforts to build a modern industrial system centered on new energy vehicles (NEVs), with supporting sectors including new-type energy storage, high-performance materials, and smart manufacturing equipment. Leveraging BYD’s leading role, nearly 30 upstream and downstream enterprises have clustered in the Zone, fostering the rapid development of a NEV vehicle and components industrial cluster valued at hundreds of billions of RMB.
If the industrial foundation is the “hardware,” then a sound business environment is the “software” that enables enterprises to thrive—another frequently mentioned and highly praised aspect during the symposium.
The Zone is moving faster to build a first-class business environment that aligns with Shenzhen’s level of development and efficiency. Guided by the Regulations on the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone in Guangdong Province, it remains committed to improving management systems and mechanisms to meet enterprise needs.
“We relocated our entire operation here because of the excellent business environment and efficient services,” said Zhao Kaiqian, Chairman of BBS Acoustics, echoing the shared voice of many enterprises that have chosen to settle in the Zone.
A favorable development environment has encouraged entrepreneurs to share their achievements at the symposium.
Song Bin, Chairman of Samkoon Shenzhen, noted that “in the Zone, we now have our own factories, and our industrial robotics business has seen rapid growth in both market share and sales.”
Luo Binghui, Chairman of DongCheng Industrial Co., Ltd, a company that grew locally in Shenzhen, added, “From a single restaurant to a diversified group, our growth has been entirely rooted in the Zone.” These voices from businesses across various industries vividly demonstrate the Zone’s development vitality.
This Entrepreneurs’ Day not only serves as a showcase of the Zone’s achievements, but also functions as a support hub for continued government–business collaboration. As industrial foundations are further strengthened, the business environment continues to improve, and innovation momentum becomes increasingly vigorous, the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone is rapidly transforming into a fertile ground for enterprises to realize their ambitions. The vivid practice of joint efforts between government and business will undoubtedly inject sustained momentum into the Zone’s high-quality development.
