Recently, the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone hosted a Spring Tea Reception themed “Advancing the 15th Five-Year Plan with United Efforts.” Nearly 200 entrepreneurs from diverse sectors, compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao, and government officials gathered for the event. Over tea, they renewed ties and discussed future development.

Two parallel site visits were organized on the day of the event. Manufacturing entrepreneurs with investment interests visited the Intelligent Operations Center, the BBS industrial park, the second phase of the Shenshan BYD Auto Industrial Park, and the Xiaomo International Logistics Port, experiencing first-hand the industrial dynamism of the core hub for Shenzhen’s new-generation world-class automobile city.

Meanwhile, entrepreneurs from the service sector visited Yuhai Bay Resort, Ideal Oriental – Shenshan Bay No. 1 Resort, Shuidishan Hot Spring Manor, and Luyuedao Homestay, exploring new opportunities in the cultural and tourism industry along the scenic coastline.

During the investment promotion session, an official from the Shenshan Bureau of Sci-tech Innovation and Economic Services highlighted the zone’s strengths: “The Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone has planned and developed 12 state-owned industrial platforms, providing nearly 1.4 million square meters of high-quality industrial space. China Resources Power’s power plant Units 3 and 4 have been completed and put into operation, while the Shenshan Branch of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital has entered trial operation. Shenshan is part of Shenzhen, and a place where you can create the future. We are committed not only to attracting enterprises, but also to helping them thrive. We welcome more entrepreneurs to invest in Shenshan.” The remarks were met with warm applause.

This half-day Spring Tea Reception reflected a well-choreographed partnership: the government provides the platform, and enterprises played their role, each fulfilling its duties and contributing its strengths.

At the outset of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Shenshan brought together compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao as well as local people in Shanwei and the Chaoshan region through this spring gathering. The event has not only fostered enthusiasm among participants to invest and start businesses in their hometown, but also deepened mutual trust between government and enterprises.

At present, Shenshan is in a critical period of accelerated growth, enjoying prominent strategic advantages, broad industrial development prospects, and a steadily improving business environment.
