近日,深圳市深汕特别合作区小漠国际物流港(以下简称“小漠港”)顺利完成深圳首单滚装国际中转业务。

Recently, Xiaomo International Logistics Port (“Xiaomo Port”) in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone successfully completed Shenzhen’s first international roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) transshipment operation.
More than 700 vehicles of various models at Xiaomo Port were transferred to the Ro-Ro vessel Luna Spirit for shipment to Batangas, the Philippines.
Earlier, the Precious Ace, a car carrier operated by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), arrived at Xiaomo Port from Laem Chabang Port, Thailand, unloading 661 vehicles, including Toyota, Suzuki, and Isuzu passenger vehicles, as well as Caterpillar and Komatsu construction machinery. On July 6, these vehicles were transferred to the Luna Spirit, together with 100 Chinese-made vehicles newly loaded at Xiaomo Port, for onward shipment to Batangas.
The successful completion of Shenzhen’s first international Ro-Ro transshipment operation demonstrates that Xiaomo Port is now capable of efficiently consolidating and distributing international transshipment cargo. Looking ahead, Xiaomo Port will accelerate the construction of its Phase II project to improve port infrastructure and facilities, upgrade end-to-end services covering vehicle customs clearance, loading/unloading, and logistics, attract more international transshipment business, and establish regular transshipment services for vehicle exports.
