On December 3, the Shenshan Speical Cooperation Zone hosted its inaugural cultural and sports event for talented personnel—a fun-filled canoeing activity at Luyue Island, Chishi Town. High-caliber professionals, technicians and skilled personnel from ten SRDI (specialized, refined, differential and innovative) enterprises and other enterprises of above designated scale participated. Guided by professional coaches and equipped with specialized gear, they paddled across the Chishi River. Gliding through the idyllic landscape, surrounded by green hills and rippling waters, the participants were visibly energized and deeply captivated by the unique rustic charm of Shenshan.
“This cultural and sports event organized by the Personnel Bureau have truly brightened our mundane weekends, especially as we are far from our home, yet contributing to the rapid growth and development of Shenshan. It has also encouraged us to explore more of Shenshan’s beautiful scenic spots. We’re really looking forward to more events like this in the future!”, said a technical specialist from an SRDI enterprise.
After exhilarating canoeing, all friends gather by the riverside to boil tea over a stove. As smoke curled upwards and the fragrant sweetness of roasted tangerines mingled with the delicate smell of green grasses, they leisurely discussed the promising future of Shenshan.
As part of a series of initiatives launched by the Personnel Bureau to enhance personnel services, the campaign on cultural and sports events aims to leverage Shenshan’s ecological strengths and its unique “special zone+old liberated area” cultural heritage. The goal is to foster a supportive environment where professionals feel a sense of solidarity, comfort and belonging; to establish a platform for resource matchmaking and exchange between enterprises and professionals; and to strengthen the identification of talent with the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone.
Following the canoeing activity, a variety of splendid cultural and sports events will take place, including seaside horse riding, river angling, and picking in the wilderness. We hope to see increasing participation from professional personnel in these enriching experiences.
