Kylin dance, also known as “martial” Kylin and an important folk activity in Shenshan, has a history of more than 200 years and was included in the second batch of the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2008.
“Straw-woven dragon dance” in Shangjie Village is another folk activity with distinctive local features.
In Shenshan, traditional opera performances are affectionately referred to by the locals as “acting in a play”, and gain wide popularity among local residents.

The Riyuehu Paragliding Camp, a well sought-after paragliding site in Guangdong, is situated in Xiabei Village, Ebu Town , and has an altitude of 650 meters. The linear distance between the taking-off site and the landing site is three kilometers, and the record linear distance of paragliding eastwards is 100 kilometers.
