3,977 Vehicles: Xiaomo Port in Shenshan Sees Largest NEV Export of the Year
On August 30, BYD Xi’AN, making its first call at the Xiaomo International Logistics Port in Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, finished loading of 3,977 new energy vehicles (NEVs). This shipment will be transshipped via Taicang Port in Jiangsu Province before heading to the European market. This marks the largest single-batch export of NEVs in both volume and value at the port so far this year.
Auto industrial leader: Faurecia establishes and expands operations in Shenshan
Located in the Ebu Sub-district of Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as “Shenshan” or the “Zone”), Faurecia’s automotive component smart manufacturing base focuses on producing core components, such as seats, for new energy vehicles (NEVs). Its product lines align closely with Shenshan’s strategic development of the NEV industry chain, extending into key areas such as advanced materials, and continuously injecting high-end manufacturing momentum into the region’s drive to build a complete and more resilient NEV ecosystem. In June this year, as its production scaled up steadily, Faurecia announced its plan to relocate the entire plant to Xiaomo Sub-district by September.
