Chishi “hobbyhorse opera”, also known as “Ma Jing”. There used to be a troupe called “Tong Le Xuan” in Sanjianglou Village. Included in the list of representative intangible cultural heritage in the four towns (Ebu, Chishi, Xiaomo and Houmen), hobbyhorse opera, which is widespread in Chishi Town, has been listed as municipal-level intangible cultural heritage. Over hundreds of years, folk artists riding bamboo hobbyhorses came onto the stage amid music to play different characters and perform folk stories. It was one of a handful of recreations for people in the old times.
